OOOPS! Got to re-work the conversion project
I got a new wiring harness in. The problem I now face is that the pots on the new harness are much larger than the old ones:
This means I have to move them up (towards the strings) just a bit. But there is no room for the 5 way switch if I do that!
Here is one possible layout (thanks to the magic of photoshop-ignore the “cutouts” on the right of the picture- used those to copy and paste!):
I did have a few dings to fix in the body, so I am taking adavantage of this opportunity to do that. First step, of course, is to fill the old holes and sand down the body again. here is stage one:
I will keep you updated as I move through the re-work!

Hey Kevin, found your site from Cigar Box Nation, which I found because a buddy of mine back in Washington DC is building me a CBG as a trade for some work.
I found you when I was searching for Fort Wayne CBG and your name stood out because you literally live across the street from me. 🙂 We moved into the Imlers house at 1216 this February.
Once I get my CBG shipped, you’ll have to stop by for one of our porch parties or just because and teach me a thing or two.
See you around!

Dave, you ASSUME I know anything about it! It is just a little hobby. I started learning guitar about a year ago and the CBG thing struck my fancy. I am hoping to build another one this summer…If I get the time!

Hello this iis kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or iff you have to
manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon
but have no coding skills so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
